This photo was taken on New Year's this year. Before I cut my hair off!

This was the craft I made. Thanks for the fab ribbon Tiff!

Slurpee's and Friends and Suicide???

Thursday night-Slurpee run...
Friday night-Slurpee run...
Saturday night-Slurpee run...YUM!

Saturday "The Crew" went out on the town. We played pickle ball at a friend of a friends home. I was AWESOME! hahahaha It took me back to 8th grade PE class, Badmitten/Pickle Ball. Ya, I ate it attempting to jump over the net and be oh so awesome! I was NOT oh so awesome. My foot got tangled in the net and I landed on my elbows. The really embarrassing part was after I landed on the ground, and after the blood was oozing from my elbows, and after I got to my feet, that's when it happened...someone asked me if I was alright. I replied, "No, I want my mom." UGH! Social suicide, or so I thought, no one else seemed to care, I however was mortified after the words had slipped out. What a geek! hahahahahaha I still have the scar on my elbow to remind me of this fateful afternoon! HA Plus, the guy I was crushing on at the time, was in this class. This is probably why I attempted to jump the net. Dang it!

Riding Bikes

Dallas and I have been trying to ride our bikes places, like to our friends houses and such. I have really been enjoying it. Dallas says, "It saves us gas money." hahahaha We belt Layken and Easton in the bike trailer, Aspen gets her helmet on, Dallas and I are too cool for helmets...morons! And off we go!
This past week, we went to the school, Edison, that's just a block away from us and the kids played on the equipment. Dallas and I attempted to cross the monkey bars. Well, Dallas made it, I did not. I was doing sooo good until, the flesh on my hands started to feel like it was peeling away from the muscle! I let go immediately and started to whimper! hahahahahaha I was pathetic! I went down the slide with Layken and Easton. I raced Aspen. We tied.

Sun Sun SUNburn!

Ok, so a couple of my GF's and I took the kiddies to the park during Spring Break. First we stopped in at the Library. We checked out a dozen books or so and then walked over to the park that is part of the Library grounds. We were there from 11a to almost 2p, so a pretty good chunk of the afternoon. It was Fabulous!!!!! We all brought a picnic lunch and laid out on our blankets while the kids played. The weather was the best weather we've had all year thus far! I stayed as long as I could, until Easton was bleery eyed and was desperate for a nap! Ugh! I would have stayed out all day long if it would have been an option. After I got home, I realized that the kids were a little pink. I checked myself out, but nothing. Tiffany called me and asked me if Easton had gotten burned. I told her he was a bit pink, but it was harmless. Apparently Ty had gotten pretty fried. And then...Easton woke from his nap. My mouth dropped when I saw his face, it was a lot brighter red than it had been when I laid him down. Were my eyes seared from the sun???? Yes, in deedy, my kid got crispy fried. WHAT WAS I THINKING!!!??? Although, it was nothing in comparison to Tiffany's 'lil fella, Ty. hahahaha Ok, Tiff that was just a tease!!! Anyway, we all had lot's of fun in the sun! Can't wait for more days like this...except this time I'll remember the sunblock! HA

Party, Party!!!

Easton turned one and we finally, one week later, were able to celebrate his birthday. We had lot's of fun with friends and family. He got lot's of trucks! He crawls around pushing them along. It's sooo cute!!! My mom got him a 'lil fire engine that he can push or sit on and ride. It sings songs. He loves it! I made him a monkey cake. I thought it turned out so cute! So those of you who couldn't come I've posted it for you. My mom took a lot of pictures on her camera since I was so busy helping Easton open his gifts, and Dallas was busy video taping. Easton really wasn't too interested in opening presents. He just wanted to play with the toy after it was unwrapped.
