Twilight

Alright so I heard form one of my gal pals, Kristen, that one of my favorite books is going to be made into a movie. I was gleeful!!! If you haven't read Twilight let me just give you a quick overview so you can understand why I have attached this not so AMAZING photo. Edward the guy in the middle of the photo, is a vampire, as are all the other characters in the photo, Edward is the main character along with a human girl named Bella. Ok, so these vampire's are supposed to be gorgeous, like models by comparison. So let me just ask you this...do any of these freaks look like models to you? Especially the guy in the back right hand corner, the blond? I mean seriously come on! These guys look like the Nerds from high school! UGH, I'm disgusted, how could the author of this book let her story go to the DOGS, literally!!! 

Hair Stylist 101

On the home front, I basicly gave Easton a buzz cut. I cut it way too short, by accident of course. I took off an inch and a half when all was said and done. Let me explain...the last time I cut his hair with the hair trimmer I used the longest setting and it still looked too shabby on the top, so I decided that I'd use the next attachment down. Mistake #1, I assumed it would only be a little shorter than the longest attachment. Apparently, this was a very unintelligent assumption. Mistake #2, I buzzed his hair right down the center of his head...and there was no going back. There was nothing left to do to recover this magnitude of butchering, I had to buzz off all the rest of his hair. So now, instead of a baby I have a little army recruit. ha ha ha 

He now has the ability to completely make his hair disappear! Just add water to hair and Viola! It disappear's! ha ha

Layken has really been into dressing up in Aspen's clothes. She puts on her underwear, her dresses, shirts, swimsuits whatever she can find and then she adds the kitty goloshes. Wow! Dallas tells me I have to put Aspen's clothes up higher so Layken can't get them, but where exactly am I suppose to put a dresser?

Aspen just started the Spring season of soccer. She seems to really like it. She just stopped taking Art lessons. It's too dang far away. I figure I'm as good as any one else. I mean what's a Fine Arts Major if you don't use some of that knowledge, eh??? hee hee

House for Sale

We are finally done updating the house and have just recently put it on the market FSBO. It's been on the market for a little more than a week. I think. It's a small house, only 1175 sq ft with 3 bedrooms and only 1 bath, but it sits on almost .6 of an acre. It might be a hard sell because of the 1 bath. I'll keep you posted. For those of you who have never been able to come and see our house, I've attached some pics. Woohoo. I know you're pumped! Don't deny it! 

Oh, and incase you were wondering why we had a latter leaned up against our house, Dallas and a guy from DISH satellite were installing the little satellite that they attach to your roof. It was the only picture I had of the house that had some green in it. Every thing is dead around here, although the tulips are breaking through the ground and there are buds on the trees and bushes.

Three

So here are the three kids, Aspen, Layken and Easton. 

Perhaps, I'll blog some more tomorrow. This is much easier than I thought and it caters to my design side! Fun!

Here I am!

I have finally decided to give this whole blogging thing a whirl. We'll see if it lasts the test of time! HA
