HAPPY HAPPY

I just realized "The Office" is on tonight! Woohoo! I have something to look forward too!

UGH!

I've been postponing writing this blog. Unfortunately for us, our buyers were unable to attain their financing. And to boot, the 2nd couple who wanted our home just got the keys to their new pad. SO, UGH, we're back to square one. Our house is up for sale again, and I don't have any idea what we're going to do about the home we were in the process of buying. Us buying the home was contingent on our home selling. On a happy note, or sorta happy note, our contract gives us 'til the 20th of May to have sold our home and have all the financing completed. I'm positive our house will sell again quickly. The house has already been shown 5 times since we put it back up for sale on Friday afternoon.

So there you have it. Ugly news.

Wish us luck in our search for a home buyer!!!!! Woohoo!!!

Our Sis-N-Law Craft

This photo was taken on New Year's this year. Before I cut my hair off!

This was the craft I made. Thanks for the fab ribbon Tiff!

We exchanged crafts this year amongst the DeCo side Sis's. It was fun! I stole these images from Taunya's website! So thanks in advance Taunya! hahahahaha Sorry in advance to Julie, who is unfortunately not in this pic!
Oh and double click on the picture of us girls and check out my cleavage! Woop Woop! hahahahaha
And yes, I know how random this 'lil blurb was...hahahahahahaha...so typical!

Slurpee's and Friends and Suicide???

Thursday night-Slurpee run...
Friday night-Slurpee run...
Saturday night-Slurpee run...YUM!

Saturday "The Crew" went out on the town. We played pickle ball at a friend of a friends home. I was AWESOME! hahahaha It took me back to 8th grade PE class, Badmitten/Pickle Ball. Ya, I ate it attempting to jump over the net and be oh so awesome! I was NOT oh so awesome. My foot got tangled in the net and I landed on my elbows. The really embarrassing part was after I landed on the ground, and after the blood was oozing from my elbows, and after I got to my feet, that's when it happened...someone asked me if I was alright. I replied, "No, I want my mom." UGH! Social suicide, or so I thought, no one else seemed to care, I however was mortified after the words had slipped out. What a geek! hahahahahaha I still have the scar on my elbow to remind me of this fateful afternoon! HA Plus, the guy I was crushing on at the time, was in this class. This is probably why I attempted to jump the net. Dang it!

Riding Bikes

Dallas and I have been trying to ride our bikes places, like to our friends houses and such. I have really been enjoying it. Dallas says, "It saves us gas money." hahahaha We belt Layken and Easton in the bike trailer, Aspen gets her helmet on, Dallas and I are too cool for helmets...morons! And off we go!
This past week, we went to the school, Edison, that's just a block away from us and the kids played on the equipment. Dallas and I attempted to cross the monkey bars. Well, Dallas made it, I did not. I was doing sooo good until, the flesh on my hands started to feel like it was peeling away from the muscle! I let go immediately and started to whimper! hahahahahaha I was pathetic! I went down the slide with Layken and Easton. I raced Aspen. We tied.

Sun Sun SUNburn!

Ok, so a couple of my GF's and I took the kiddies to the park during Spring Break. First we stopped in at the Library. We checked out a dozen books or so and then walked over to the park that is part of the Library grounds. We were there from 11a to almost 2p, so a pretty good chunk of the afternoon. It was Fabulous!!!!! We all brought a picnic lunch and laid out on our blankets while the kids played. The weather was the best weather we've had all year thus far! I stayed as long as I could, until Easton was bleery eyed and was desperate for a nap! Ugh! I would have stayed out all day long if it would have been an option. After I got home, I realized that the kids were a little pink. I checked myself out, but nothing. Tiffany called me and asked me if Easton had gotten burned. I told her he was a bit pink, but it was harmless. Apparently Ty had gotten pretty fried. And then...Easton woke from his nap. My mouth dropped when I saw his face, it was a lot brighter red than it had been when I laid him down. Were my eyes seared from the sun???? Yes, in deedy, my kid got crispy fried. WHAT WAS I THINKING!!!??? Although, it was nothing in comparison to Tiffany's 'lil fella, Ty. hahahaha Ok, Tiff that was just a tease!!! Anyway, we all had lot's of fun in the sun! Can't wait for more days like this...except this time I'll remember the sunblock! HA

Party, Party!!!

Easton turned one and we finally, one week later, were able to celebrate his birthday. We had lot's of fun with friends and family. He got lot's of trucks! He crawls around pushing them along. It's sooo cute!!! My mom got him a 'lil fire engine that he can push or sit on and ride. It sings songs. He loves it! I made him a monkey cake. I thought it turned out so cute! So those of you who couldn't come I've posted it for you. My mom took a lot of pictures on her camera since I was so busy helping Easton open his gifts, and Dallas was busy video taping. Easton really wasn't too interested in opening presents. He just wanted to play with the toy after it was unwrapped.

You Are Ariel!

Headstrong and fiesty. You have a mind of your own that's full of romantic dreams about the world around you. Exploring exotic places is your ultimate dream, and although you can be a little naive you'll realize that there is something to be gained from your family's wisdom.

Which Disney Princess Are You?

Check Me Out!

Apparently, out of all the Disney "Princesses" I'm Ariel! Sweet!!! Love the clothes! hahahahahaa

Tres Amigos

Here is Layken with her 2 BFF's, Ryley and Paige. So cute. They played for a 'lil bit today and after they left I asked Layken who her friends were, she told me PAige and Ryley and savannah and Penny. I think she's talking about Penny's 'lil girl Mia, but I'm unsure! ha hahaha

Layken and Easton playing together in a toy bin. Layken is clothed in her usual diaper attire! hahahaha

My 'lil Man

Out of a hundred little fella's, my 'lil fella would be the smallest one. He's in the 1st percentile for weight and length. I can't believe it! My mom says I was bigger than he is at this age. hahahahaha Oh man...

Music

How do you have music playing on your blogspot???
Easton dances to Colbie Caillat. I love her song "Realize" and "Bubbly" from her coco cd.

April Fool's

I thought it would be so funny to play a 'lil April Fool's joke on my family. I found the cutest recipe for Fauxberry pie in my Family Fun mag. It appears to be a dessert, but it's really pink mashed potatoes on top of a meat loaf and pie crust. You puree beets to get the pink potatoes. It was hilarious! I told everyone we were going to have dessert for dinner. Layken was so thrilled she started to scream! She tasted her piece of pie and said...this is a yucky pie mommy. I laughed. Aspen, looked at me and said, what is this anyway? hahahahaha I got them good! I screamed April Fool's at this point and told them what it really was. Layken didn't eat much for dinner. I think the pink potatoes were just a bit odd. It was a yummy recipe.
I have to admit. I had a hard time eating potatoes that were pink too!

DeCoria Fun!

Or should I say, Dallas fun! hahahaha Dallas put Easton in the cupboard on the top part of our entertainment center. I quickly grabbed the camera and snapped a photo. For the record, Dallas was cropped out of the picture, so we didn't just put him up there and walk away! hahahahaha

CraZy LAykeN

After dinner on Sunday Layken ran outside to play with her cousins. She chose to wear her diaper, daddy's work hat, and kitty-kat goloshes. She looked hilarious! I ran out after her and told her to come back inside and put some clothes on. She quickly grabbed her cousin, Savannah's coat, put it on, upside down (so the neck of the coat is around her waist and the waist of the coat is around her neck. Get it?), and attempted to run back out the door.

Insanity

Easton is one! Yesterday was his Birthday. Yes, I know...that went by fast!
Easton is sick and was sick on his Birfday. Poor 'lil chap! He has the croupe and a double ear infection.
Yesterday, instead of being happy, Easton's birthday was brought in with tears, fussing, mindless entertainment, drool, and couch sitting. I kid you not, I didn't leave that couch all day long, at least not without Easton hanging on me. I finally hit the shower around 7:30p. I called my girlie friend Tiff and she came and rescued me for an hour. We had a slurpee run. As Tony the Tiger would say...It was GRRREAT! hahahahahahahahaha
Looks like we'll be celebrating his birthday next Wednesday.

Oh and Easton weighs 19 lbs. and is almost 28 inches long.
