Holes, Holes, Holes

We caught Layken during sacrament meeting at church pulling on a thin white thread and soon figured out it was attached to her tights. When Layken got home what was a small snag turned into a hole the size of her knee cap! hahahahahaha

No Naps

Easton has not been napping for the last month or so. I put him to bed after lunch as was routine. It's quiet for 15 minutes. I hear something being rammed into the kids room door, over and over again. Yep, it's Fuzzy. The kid is repeatedly ramming his Mighty Tonka Truck my 'rents gave him for Christmas into the door trying to get my attention. This isn't just your average size Tonka Truck it's metal and hard plastic like the normal truck but is triple the size. I'm surprised there hasn't been more damage to the door or our walls.
Well, needless to say Fuzzy hasn't been taking naps. I gave up. I fought with him at first. You know, battle of the wills stuff. I'm weaker. I decided screw it. The kid can just fall asleep wherever he falls asleep, if he falls asleep. Layken, his sis, was the same way. Screamed at me for several hours for a week before I relented. She was 18 months. Aspen also stopped napping at 18 months, and apparently I did the same. Perhaps it's genetic? hahahahha Fuzzy is almost 21 months now.
So the reason for this post is to say that i found Fuzzy asleep on my bedroom floor with his cars. Thought it was funny!

Ehhh? Whadya say?

I've been sick over the last week, mainly with just congestion, so I've been blowing my nose A LOT! Unfortunately, due to all the nose blowing I can't hear anything anymore. It's become quite frustrating. I have to ask people to repeat themselves MULTIPLE times. Oh man...sign me up for my hearing aids!!!!

Sista D

Over the last couple days I've been organizing my "Blessing Box" for the Young Women in our ward at church. Each girl will be able to pick one of the items from the box each time they pass off an entire section in their personal progress book. (It's like Scouts for Chics.) Their are now 8 different categories to complete. Each category has 6 small things to work on, and a larger 10 hour project.
Tiffany and I went all around town looking for deals, b/c I only have $100 bucks per year to spend. We did so good! Thank you Bath and Body Works for changing your packaging and dumping all your merchandise for CHEAP!!!! I got bracelet's for a buck, and fun earrings for less than $5 a pair. I designed the coupon's. I had fun doing it too.

And if you didn't know we call each other Sister or Brother instead of Mr. or Mrs. Anywho, I call myself Sista D. So that's who that refers to on my coupons. Ya I know...Cool, eh? hahahahahaha

I love this calling. So far I've loved talking to the girls, dressing up like a pirate and acting the part as well, to motivate them to do their personal progress. Can't wait 'til tomorrow so I can present this to my gal pals in Young Women!!!!! If I didn't have skin, I'd explode everywhere! hahahahahaha

Mama Mia, I think I love you!!!!

I watched this movie two nights in a row over Christmas break. One night with Tiffany, Tasha, and Julie, we stayed up way too late! The second night I watched it with Jill and Linsey. On this night, all 3 of us attempted to sing along with the songs. hahahahha It would have broke the recorder if someone had tried to record it, not that anyone would want to!!!!!
I loved the music in this film so much I bought the soundtrack. Now I can sing along to the tunes over, and over again. Dallas rolls his eyes and laughs every time he comes home to the same ol' music. "Dancing Queen", Our Last Summer", and "Lay All Your Love on Me" are my favorites!
I have also decided that Greece is a place I must see before I die. This was the second movie I've recently watched based in Greece. The first being "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants". BTW, I love this movie too! And last night I added New Zealand to my must see before I kick the bucket List.
Cheers!

Gimpy

My husband the "Gimp". Dallas went to play soccer with his brother, Brandon, while he was in town. Clay his buddy went along as well. Dallas came home with a new addition to his leg! Apparently Clay kicked him in the shin, and no Dallas wasn't wearing shin guards. hahahahahaha, alright I shouldn't laugh at more poor husbands pain but, no shin guard's?

Brunette

I died my hair darker again, I think I like my hair dark. I think I might keep it this way, but we'll see.

Can you Believe it? SNOW!

Claire and I took the kids outside, after spending an obscene amount of time getting them dressed in their Winter attire. We dug the sleds out from the shop in the 'rents backyard. We walked around the house a few times pulling the kids on the sled, Claire actually ran around, I started huffing after about a minute. Wake up call. YOU ARE OUT OF SHAPE! hahahahaha
Claire and I decided that this was too mundane and we needed something more entertaining to pass the time. We decided to sled down the small hill in the backyard. The small hill ends abruptly by the creek running through. So we loaded up the kids and sent ourselves flying down the hill. We had to aim just so or we would end up in the creek. Claire aimed perfectly as usual and carried both kids and the sled back up the hill. I on the other hand ran into a tree, dented the sled, and carried one child up while Claire came down and took one kid and the sled...hmmm.

Santy Claus

We saw Santa this year and the kids seemed excited to go and tell him what they wanted for Christmas. Layken sat quietly twirling her fingers through Santa's beard, and hopped down with a grin after telling him all her Christmas toy hopes. Easton was not so happy to see the bearded man. He screamed the entire time, Santa held him just long enough for me to take a picture and then, that was it, he set him down, and I'm sure was thrilled to not have the screaming kid on his lap any longer. Oh how we torture our children! ha ha
